The world of ESG Reporting is rapidly and continuously changing. As a Senior Front-end Developer, you will drive improvement in the way our customers collect, process and use data to gain actionable insights in their ESG performance. You will be challenged to exploring innovative ways to provide a great user experience and improve the scalability of our platform. You will liaise with UX on user research and integrate AI to translate data into insights.

What You Will Be Doing

As a front-end developer at Salacia Solutions, you will play a key role in increasing our development and delivery speed, increasing the impact we can make on our planet through the usage of our tools by our customers.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the development of new features and UI components using modern frameworks (React, Remix, Playwright)

Mentor junior developers, be the front-end discipline leader

Translate roadmap items into technical designs and user stories

Own the user flow and frontend experience across the platform

Maintain high coding standards and contribute to code reviews

Take an active role in Design Sprints to quickly turn ideas into reality

What are we looking for

5 years+ of experience in front–end development and UX Design

Deep knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end frameworks

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend integration

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and contributing to open-source projects

Passion for clean, maintainable code and good software practices

Interest in ESG, sustainability, or impact-driven tech

Excellent communication and collaboration skills (Working language English)

Not afraid to work at a highly dynamic scale-up

Able to work at our centrally located office in Rotterdam a few days a week
