Omnibus or no Omnibus: When we look back at the year 2025 in 10-20 years’ time; are we going to say ‘Well we stopped tracking and reporting on our ESG impact because the (EU)law no longer demanded us to do it’? Or can we say “we chose to move forward with data driven sustainable growth anyway because we know this is the only successful long term strategy for our business”?
We firmly believe it’s the latter. We track impact, collect data, and provide transparency not because we have to, but because we want to, knowing that is a strategic imperative for staying commercially relevant in the future. Let’s remember that we are in the driver seat in how we want to relate to ESG and integrate it in our businesses and organizations, regardless of the formal scope of the CSRD.
