In-depth Partner Training

Calculating Carbon Footprint

Calculating a reliable carbon footprint requires more than simply uploading data. It requires a structured approach, a solid understanding of emissions methodologies, and the ability to translate raw data into meaningful insights.

This in-depth training is designed for Salacia partners and direct Salacia customers with in-house ESG expertise who want to get the most out of the platform. Whether you are supporting clients with ESG reporting or managing carbon calculations internally, this session will help you build confidence in using the Energy & Emissions module and the Salacia matching tools effectively.

Join us on 15 September 2026 at the Salacia Solutions office in Rotterdam for a practical and interactive training session. The training will run from 10:00 to 12:30, followed by a lunch and networking opportunity from 12:30 to 13:00. During the session, you will learn how to structure activity data, work with emission factors, interpret results, and use scenario analysis to explore future emissions pathways.

Ellen van der Linde, Climate Analyst, Nexio Projects

“Mart provided us with a comprehensive introduction before we began using the Energy and Emissions module of Salacia. We received clear, practical guidance that enabled us to use the module with confidence from the start, from uploading data to navigating the results dashboard. The hands-on exercises were particularly valuable, giving us the opportunity to practice each step with Mart available to support us. He also remained available for follow-up questions, proactively checking in to ensure everything was progressing smoothly.”

  • Learn by doing

This is a hands-on training where you will work directly in a dedicated Salacia training environment. Rather than watching demonstrations, you will complete the full carbon footprint process yourself, from data import and emission factor matching to analysis and reporting.

Together, we will walk through best practices for data preparation, using the Match Tool efficiently, validating results, and identifying areas where data quality can be improved. You will gain practical experience with the same workflows used in real customer implementations, helping you apply what you learn immediately in your own projects.

By the end of the session, you will have a clear understanding of how to calculate emissions from A to Z within the platform and how to confidently support organisations in their carbon accounting journey.

There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, discuss real-life implementation challenges, and exchange experiences with fellow participants.
