Lenny & Kees

Lenny and Kees had been trusted partners since 2009, running a strategic and financial consultancy firm. But Lenny saw a bigger opportunity: sustainability needed to move from the sidelines to the centre. He shared the idea with Pauline, his wife and trusted advisor. She thought it was a good idea.

Kees shared Lenny’s enthusiasm about the plan, but first consulted his own “board of directors”: his wife Rosa. She also thought it was a good idea. And that’s how Salacia Solutions was born!

Our name reflects our mission: to drive sustainable growth towards a future-proof economy. Inspired by Salacia, the Roman goddess of the sea, we embrace her calm strength and ability to see hidden depths. We help businesses uncover the untapped potential beneath the surface of their non-financial data. Through our ESG platform, we make these insights as essential and accessible as financial metrics.

Salacia also stands for sensational: which is exactly how we see this journey we are on. In the summer of 2025, Salacia’s spirit came to life, captured in a mural by Naomi King at our new Rotterdam office. Her eyes inspire us every day!
