This year we had the incredible opportunity to participate in the Lightspeed Accelerator program organised by Lefebvre Sarrut / SDU. Over the past six months, we joined forces with SDU to create value together and learn from each other.
Creating Value Together
LightSpeed Accelerator is a 6-month startup acceleration program ran by Lefebvre Sarrut in Continental Europe (The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Spain and Italy). This program is aimed at partnering with startups and helping them grow faster. The program was a melting pot of innovation, where startups and experts gathered to exchange knowledge and foster mutual growth. At Salacia, we believe in the power of collaboration to drive impactful change. This program perfectly encapsulated that spirit, providing an environment where we could learn from each other and push the boundaries of ESG reporting.
Our Objectives
Our participation in the Accelerator program was driven by clear, strategic objectives aimed at enhancing our joint offerings and validating our solutions in the real world:
- User Experience Enhancement: We focused on refining the user experience of our solutions to ensure they are intuitive and user-friendly.
- Integration of Numerical and Narrative Datapoints: At the kick-off we stated that Salacia does the numbers and Lefebvre Sarrut does the letters. Recognizing the importance of both, we worked on the design for integrating our platforms into a turnkey solution for CSRD companies.
- Training Modules: We participated in and jointly developed comprehensive training modules to empower users with the knowledge needed to start with CSRD reporting and to leverage our tools effectively.
- Market Validation: We visited companies to gauge the success potential of our propositions and gather invaluable feedback from real-world applications. We are at the verge of signing the first contract to start our first joint project at a client.
The Impact
The impact of our participation in the Lightspeed Accelerator program has been profound. The collaboration led to the development of a successful webinar, an ESG training program for companies and a contribution to the ESG-certified training course. In total we trained 35 different organizations and over 45 accountants on ESG, carbon accounting and CSRD.
Our market validation efforts were equally fruitful, with quite some concrete leads in the pipeline. These engagements provided us with critical insights, affirming the value and relevance of our solutions in the market.
What’s Next?
The journey doesn’t end here. Building on the momentum from the Lightspeed Accelerator program, we are excited to embark on several new initiatives:
- Joint CSRD Projects with SDU: We will collaborate on projects that align with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) to further enhance our solutions and impact.
- Joint CSRD Training: Together with SDU, we will develop and deliver training programs to help companies meet CSRD requirements effectively.
- Platform Integration: We will continue to explore deeper integration of our platform with SDU’s offerings to provide seamless and comprehensive ESG reporting solutions.
The Lightspeed Accelerator program has been a testament to the power of collaboration and the endless possibilities it brings. We are proud to have been a part of this journey and look forward to taking our collaboration with Lefebvre Sarrut and SDU to even greater heights.
