The new standard in ESG reliability

Salacia is the first ESG software provider in the Benelux to receive both ISAE 3402 Type 1 and Type 2 declarations. These internationally recognised audit reports confirm that our platform meets the highest standards for data accuracy, process control, and security.

Why is ISAE important?

ISAE (International Standard for Assurance Engagements) reports are typically used to assess outsourced processes like payroll or IT systems. We believe they’re essential for ESG software too—especially under CSRD. Salacia anticipates that ISAE 3402 will become the standard for CSRD software.

That’s why we’ve documented every step of our process, identified risks, and implemented controls to ensure data integrity. It is a testament to the high level of accuracy and reliability of our platform, and for our users it means that it will save them significant time and (audit) costs.

Our Type 1 report confirms that these controls are in place. Our Type 2 report, achieved in 2025, goes further—proving that these controls work consistently over time. This means auditors can rely on our platform’s outputs, saving your team significant time, cost, and complexity.
